Four permanent installations anchor our programme.
- The Newton Abbot Community Tree led by Joe Webster
- The Art-Coustics Tree led by Catherine West
- The Barnstaple Reading Tree led by James Lake
- The Tavistock Tree led by James Lake (completed Feb 2026 Half Term)
Between May and July 2026, workshops, events, and exhibitions formed the Devon Satellite programme of this International Biennial.
- Exhibitions and activities at Devon County Show Thursday 21 May to Saturday 23 May 2026
- A range of workshop-led events, many of them arts events IN nature
- A ‘Talks Across Borders’ programme at Ashburton Arts Centre
- A monthly community work (and play) day at Creativity Acre, the Significant Seams outdoor venue we are co-creating with community
- A monthly Significant Seams Climate & Mental Health Friendly Volunteering event
- Various activities and workshops that are added by the Devon community!

We build community and support people in vulnerable life moments using art and creativity.
We run creative workshops, make artwork with communities, learn about communities through creative research and evaluation, and provide sewing supplies for social good.
