Empowering Creativity Summer Youth Programme 2024

During our 2024 summer youth programme, eighteen young people engaged in a range of creative and outdoor activities over 11 days at The Turning Tides Four for All Gardens, a woodland space near the train station. The young people also helped us run a pop-up Community Larder with Sustainable Crediton and FareShare, reclaiming food at risk of being labelled waste by big companies. Two people built ‘wild ovens’ for Turning Tides, enabling outdoor baking and slow cooking alongside grilling and barbeques.
