If Trees Could Talk: Entrepreneurs, Creative & Green

Rachel and Matt Hayes are the architect founders of Folia Architects, an award-winning practice focussed on sustainable design and certified Passivhaus buildings. They emphasise natural materials and timber construction in bespoke new build homes, eco-friendly barn conversions and collaborative community spaces that connect to their landscape.

Tim Craven founded The Arborealists artists’ collective (40 exhibitions and 9 publications to date) in 2013. He trained in fine art and Conservation, and has worked in Conservation, Collection Management, and as a Curator. His artworks are held in gallery and private collections worldwide.

Abi Innocent is a Senior and Founding Manager at The Turning Tides Project, a social enterprise committed to improving understanding of the social model of disability and providing equal access to music, the arts and life. She manages the Crediton Train Station Tea Rooms, a full service cafe and catering company that also acts as a hub for the organisations wider activities. It is a short distance from Four For All, a woodland community space and garden that the organisation also manages.
