The Co-Created “If Trees Could Talk Devon” Festival Programme will launch at Devon County Show
The programme has been co-created with people around Devon keen to connect across boundaries, creatively. The full programme will launch on 21 May 2026 online and from the Devon County Show. Programmes will also be available by post for a £3+ suggested donation plus postage. Pre-purchase yours now to help us cover the costs of pulling together this Festival! In the meantime, you can also follow along on our website as we upload the listings HERE.

The response to our invitation to co-create a programme of events for this International Biennale has been inspiring, and led to some exciting developments. The Festival will now launch with two exhibitions and activities at Devon County Show in an area provided by the University of Exeter.
We are particularly excited by our talks programme, delivered with Ashburton Arts Centre. Guided by the Bienniale theme of ‘Connecting Across Borders’ a range of inspiring people are entering into a public conversation with someone from another discipline. They are sharing their (all quite impressive) experiences, and approach to trees, art and ecology, in vulnerable but open discourse about decision-making in our time. The programme also features experiences and activities – including exceptional opportunities to work with artists in our landscapes – and public arts works around the county.
