Silent Zoom is back. Now open for booking with DRLC!

Sporty types have coaches. it doesn’t matter that they know how to exercise, to use the equipment, stretch and kick/throw/catch the ball. Everyone benefits from some accountability, structuring our time, maintaining motivation – and most fundamentally, feeling connected to others. Connectedness is the first of the 5 ways to wellbeing.

Our Silent Zoom programme is a crafty coaching session. Two of our art facilitators lead it, holding time for you to focus on your making project, an hour a week for 6 weeks. There is time for sharing and connecting – for knowing you are not alone in finding … something… through making – but that sometimes you find it hard to self motivate, or lonely to get on with the project, or whatever.

The pandemic period inspired new ways to be together, and helped us connect with people who, for a myriad of reasons, struggle to get out to events, groups or venues. Silent Zoom is an hour together online, making, connecting, sharing, and then returning to your regularly scheduled day. It is a Craftfulness session delivered with Devon Recovery Learning Community – part of NHS Mental Health Services – and free to attend. To participate, register with DRLC here (if you aren’t already registered), and book HERE.

Now open for booking: Tuesday evenings 7.30-8.30pm on 21st, 28th Feb, 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th March 2023.
