Socially Supportive Stitching ©

Our Socially Supportive Stitching© group – every Thursday from 1-3pm at 131 Wood Street – particularly works with agencies supporting people in mental health recovery, isolated by circumstance, and adults needing a bit of social support. We work with NELFT, Housing Associations, and frontline organisations.

The group members contribute to our current community projects, and develop projects of their own. The group is facilitated by experienced volunteers, including a nurse, a teacher, and a textile designer.

Participants can be of any ability level – and can bring a project they are working on, or join in on one of ours. We have a number of projects on offer for a range of skill levels.

We welcome enquiries from individuals as well as support workers and agencies. You can indicate your intent to join us by emailing us via the contact us form.
