Significant Seams is hosting an event for Volunteer Coordinators!
Waltham Forest is full of organisations and people who work with volunteers, so I thought it would be a good idea to let all our readers know that this month, Significant Seams is hosting a training and networking event for Volunteer Coordinators. If you recruit, support or organise volunteers as part of what you do, this is the event for you.
On Monday 24th March, at the Wood Street shop, there will be a training session for Volunteer Coordinators in the morning, covering volunteer motivations, suitable activities and creating an atmosphere where volunteers feel they share in the organisation and its success. This session will run from 10am – 2pm.
Alternatively, you can stop by at 1pm for a networking lunch (though don’t worry, you’ll still get to attend this if you’re signed up for the training.)
You can book places at the events here: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/co-ordinating-volunteers-training-morning-and-networking-lunch-registration-10016211759 and if you aren’t free for this event, you could always contact the organiser about the internet themed event planned for May.
