Neighbourly Knit and Stitch – Now in the evenings too!
We’d like to invite our readers once again to get involved in our Neighbourly Knit and Stitch groups. We know a lot of you have trouble getting here on weekdays, so we’ve set up a Thursday evening group! We’d be eager to welcome new people for our afternoon sessions too, including the new Wednesday group, dubbed “Neighbourly Mending Club.”
Neighbourly Knit & Stitch groups are an established core activity for Significant Seams. They provide a forum where like minded individuals can get together in a lively social group to work on their own projects or contribute to one of the ever changing projects we always have on the go. You can expect lots of laughs and lively conversation.
There is no specific tuition in these groups but members get inspiration from browsing the extensive Knit & Stitch library of books/patterns and get support/ advice from other group members. There are always community projects you can get involved in too, so you don’t need to have your own project already on the go.
We request £3 per session to include refreshments: this helps to meet the ongoing costs for the upkeep and running of the Community Living Room and our other support programmes.
Dates and Times
Afternoon Neighbourly Mending Club: Every Wednesday between 1pm and 3pm
Afternoon Neighbourly Knit and Stitch: Every Thursday between 1pm and 3pm
