Easter School Holidays at the Hub and Wood Street Market
The Hub will be open and offering Easter-y fun Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday this week. We have drop-in crafting for £4/hour/crafter all week – except when we have a workshop on – most of these are on Tuesday!
On Tuesday we’re hosting a special Easter edition of our weekly Stories and Stickin’ – while this is usually focused on the under 5’s, all are welcome this week and we’ve planned projects accordingly! 10:30-11:30, £2 per child. Also on Tuesday, there’ll be a special kid’s knitting lesson from 12-2. Kids 7+ with an adult. It is £6 per kid+adult. Booking is recommended. Participants will be provided wool and needles for the session.
Throughout the holiday period, come by with the kids to participate in the “Eggstravagant Egg Hunt” we’ve assembled with our neighbours in Wood Street Market (A pictorial version will be available for those who don’t read yet!) Kids who complete the scavenger hunt will get chocolate eggs – and they’ll also be entered in a drawing to win free family vouchers to Tumble in the Jungle, courtesy of our neighbours at The Soul Project.
Also on at our neighbours in market during the holiday period:
On Wednesday, 4 April Carbon28 will host Kids Bag decorating (£6) from 11-1.
On Thursday, 5 April, take a break from the kids and come along for a Swinging evening dj’ed by Tony Tunes. Jerome will teach the Lindy Hop at 7pm. Craft Guerrilla will offer craft workshops at 7:30. This, all while Anja Jane serves up cocktails at Anja Jane & Coffee. (We have some space available on our new Upcycling Series too!)
The market will be closed on Good Friday – 6 April – but re-open for all your last minute Easter needs (Cakes, Flowers, Cards, Gifts…. ) on Saturday 7 April.
On Wednesday 11 April Carbon28 will host kids badge making (£2) from 11-1.
