Easter Period Art with Teens
Over the Easter Holidays, we got out in nature with young people in Exeter and Crediton. Finding inspiration from nature and eco heritage, we hugged trees, bashed flowers, spun wool, and made textile prints using sunlight. We did some weaving, drawing and even poetry-writing. Every session culminated with a shared hot meal and a bit of reflecting about our art-making – and the food! (We learned young people love grapes and oranges and Mexican Black Beans. were the favourite dish.)
Thanks to Jim Wileman for the stunning photos. He even made celery look good!
