In Person Workshops Re-start

The red clay path along the top of Peoples Park CreditonIt’s been a journey, hasn’t it? We’re ready. Are you?

Textiles and Nature: Crafting Inspiration from Crediton’s Heritage will focus on People’s Park. The natural and historical influence of a site creates a wealth of opportunities to explore and discover.  People’s Park – why is it here? who was it for? what did it do?  What grows above, on the surface and below it?  How is it all connected?  This course encourages discovery of creative connections in time and space.  At the end of the 5 weeks we will have created several individual pieces of textile art, and contributed to a communal cooperative piece.  We will be testing different techniques and discovering new forms of art. We will be respecting social distancing and each other’s grappling with getting together again.

Enabled by @creditontowncouncil and @devonrlc,  we aim to help ease the niggles. Its designed to offer new perspectives, artistic inspirations, and gentle new community connections.

Spaces are limited, and they are FREE. So book early to avoid missing out. =)
